Summary, etc. Abstract: The researchers investigated the common health practices applied in maintaining a healthy lifestyle among nursing managers in tertiary hospitals in Quezon City. It determines what health practices are being applied by the nurse manager in terms of physical, emotional and social health practices. The study also tried to reveal if there is a difference between the profile of the respondents and their health practice. The researches use a descriptive research design in order to investigate the distribution of the health practices being done among the respondents in a defined population. A survey questionnaire is used in this research and comprises two parts: the first part of the survey tool contains the demographic profile including the nursing manager's gender and age in the hospital and specifying weather or not a history of illness is present while the second part of the questionnaire involves the health practices applied by the nurse managers in terms of physical (diet, exercise, sleep pattern and hygiene) emotional (attitudes), and social (interpersonal relationships) health practices. The results of this study shows that good physical health practice of male nurse managers is six point three percent (6.3%) while ninety-three point eight percent (93.8%) was for female nurse managers from the total number of respondents. Also, it is clear that nine-point six percent (9.6%) of male and ninety point four percent (90.4%) of female among the total respondents have good social health practice. There is significant difference between the two health practices mentioned and the gender of the respondents. Gender clearly plays a role in the determinants and consequences of poor health, and it can no longer be assumed that a male model for health also applies to women. Seventy-seven point seven percent (77.7%) from ages forty to fifty two (40-52) and twenty-two point three percent (22.3%) among the total respondents has a good social health practice. It is also evident that there is significant between social health practice in terms of age. Older adults identify fewer social partners in their networks than the younger adults (Fung, Carstensen & Lang, 2001 ; Fung, Stoebe, Yueng, & Lung, 2008). The researchers therefore recommend that the nurse managers should stay motivated in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and positive outlook by engaging in support groups at least once a month. A good example is a " Goal Setting Support Group" as it helps in building positive habits on how to accomplish their goals.
