520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. ABSTRACT: Physical inactivity is becoming rampant worldwide especially here in the Philippines. As a result, this has become a growing concern for the World Health Organization because insufficient physical activity is a risk factor for non-communicable diseases which leads to most cases of death in the world. In addition, most medical students are physically inactive due to lack of time and heavy demands of medical school. Numerous studies have shown and proven the benefits of physical activity to the body especially to the brain, however not much have discussed on the impact of these to medical students. Realizing these, we aimed to determine the effects of physical activity on visual and auditory reaction times, and memory retention.
