Abstract: Stress is the reaction of the body to any change requiring adjustment or response. The body responds with physical, behavioral, and emotional responses to those changes. You can experience stress from your environment, your body, and your thoughts. Even positive changes in life such as a promotion, a mortgage, or the birth of a child produce stress. Therefore, the purpose of this study is aimed to determine the association of stress in eating habits and academic performance among the pharmacy students. The respondents for this cross-sectional, analytical study were the pharmacy students of FEU-NRMF. The research instrument that would be used is a self-administered survey questionnaire and Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). The survey questionnaire would contain questions on demographic profile, information about their experience of being stressed, eating habits, and their academic performance in school. The Perceived Stress Scale would measure the level of stress of the students and contains questions about their feelings and thoughts in the past month. Unfortunately, due to pandemic known as COVID-19, the researchers were not able to continue the research study. With this, researchers would recommend pursuing the output of the study given enough time and safe space to perform the research to serve as reference as well to future researchers, if not so would be privileged if lower batches would trail the same concept. |
