Summary, etc. ABSTRACT: The study aimed to know the correlation between eHealth literacy and the level of cyberchondria among employees in a Tertiary School in Quezon City. This study had a correlation design and was intended to be quantitative in nature. The researchers utilized a convenience sampling technique. The sample size was 134, comprising of 98 respondents from the Medical Center and 36 from the Institute of Medicine. Data collection for the study was done using a survey questionnaire, which consisted of the eHealth Literacy Scale (eHEALS) and Cyberchondria Severity Scale-12 (CSS-12). Results showed that the respondents had a high level when it comes to eHEALTH literacy. In addition, the level of cyberchondria among employees in terms of excessiveness, distress, and reassurance was moderate. On the other hand, the level of cyberchondria in terms of compulsion was low. It was also found that there was a significant relationship between the eHEALTH literacy and the level of cyberchondria among employees, which indicated that the study results have consistent with other related studies showing that eHEALTH literacy aided users in lessening the potential of acquiring signs of cyberchondria, such as unwarranted and repetitive searches and escalation of anxiety. The high level of eHEALTH literacy of the non-medical employees assisted in making their level of cyberchondria only at a moderate level. They are knowledgeable in evaluating health information from the internet but are still concerned about their health.
