Summary, etc. ABSTRACT: Telemedicine allowed physicians to reach their patients even during the lockdowns when COVID 19 pandemic happened. Although many had attended seminars/workshop, only few physicians were using telemedicine prior to pandemic. This study aims determine the knowledge, attitude, practices of physicians using telemedicine according to age, sex and duration of practice. This was a cross sectional descriptive study that used an online google form questionnaire. A total of 86 pediatricians practicing in tertiary hospitals in Metro Manila participated in the study. Most of the participants belonged to the age group of 41-50 years old (34.9%) and most of them did not have any formal training to telemedicine but had attended conferences/seminar related to telemedicine (80.2%). 98.8% of the respondents had good knowledge towards telemedicine with no difference with age, sex and duration of practice. 83.72% had favorable attitude but was noted that those who were younger of age and shorter the duration of practice, had a more favorable attitude to telemedicine. This study revealed that 50.7% of the respondents did not utilize the use of informed consent. This study recommends information dissemination of the laws governing informed consent during telemedicine.
