Summary, etc. | ABSTRACT: This study investigates on the coping mechanisms by the Clinical instructions of Far Eastern University - Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation. The respondents of the study were 40 (30 females 10 males) Clinical instructors of Far Eastern University-Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, which represents 53% of the entire Clinical Instructors population. The study sought to identify the manner on how these Clinical Instructors cope with the stress that they encounter. It also sought to identify most commonly employed coping mechanism of the Clinical Instructor respondent. The Descriptive method of research was used, and questionnaires were utilized as main tool for gathering data. Statistical treatment was confined to the use of frequency count, percentage distribution and weighted mean. The finding revealed that the maintaining a good and supportive relationship with their co-worker is the most commonly employed coping mechanisms followed by they give time for themselves and maintain a good health by getting enough, good quality sleep and eating a well-balanced diet and they go to church and ask God`s help and guidance. While smoking cigarette is the least employed coping mechanism. |
