Summary, etc. Abstract: This research looked into the effectiveness of visual and guided feedback in the performance of activity, in this case, table tennis. Many arguments in the past have existed with regards to whether which is more effective, practicing through visual activity (watching videos of basic moves in table tennis or table tennis matches) or practicing through guided activity (individual with background of table tennis will be in hands-on contact with the subject while practicing). We employed a single blinded randomized control trial that was randomly distributed to the subjects. Subjects were divided into 3 groups: one for visual feedback, guided feedback & for control group, each having an equal number of 7 subjects (randomly distributed) who had performed the assigned tasks and then having a lag of 1 week (no activity at all) before the final measurement of performance in table tennis. All tasks were videotaped & was scored by a single person outside the research group.
