Summary, etc. ABSTRACT: An action program designed to educate pregnant women to Barangay Holy Spirit, Areas 1-3, Quezon City, on the awareness of Factors that cause high-risk pregnancy, was organized by Section 3A. Eighty nine pregnant women participated the pre-testing, however, only 50 of the 89 were present at the seminar. In addition women who did not participate in the pre-test attended the seminar. These 15 women were excluded in our study. Result of the pre-test showed most participants either have misconceptions or unaware of some factors that cause high-risk pregnancy. After the seminar, result of the post-test revealed increased level of awareness on these risks factors. 80% of subjects increased their awareness by at least 90%. Hence, the objective of utilizing the seminar as an effective tool for educating these women on high-risk pregnancy was successfully achieved.
