Summary, etc. ABSTRACT: The purpose of the study is to test the effectiveness of the utilization of academic books and e-books in studying analytical chemistry. This study use descriptive design. The data were gathered using the 4-point rating scale. Forty (40) students from the first year of school of medical technology at the far eastern university dr. Nicanor reyes medical foundation. The gathered data were analyzed using the mean to determine the effectiveness. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the utilization of academic books and e-books in studying analytical chemistry. This study made use of descriptive research design whereby (40) respondents were chosen through single group sampling. The gathered data were subjected and interpreted using the mean. Based on the findings of the study, both academic books and e-books are effective in studying analytical chemistry having the highest garnered mean of 37.5% out of the 40 respondents. E-book is the preferred medium in studying analytical chemistry in the terms of accessibility and reliability. E book is more efficient than the utilization of academic books having the highest garnered mean of 55% out of the 40 respondents.
