Abstract: Fecal samples obtained from 38 Mt. Pinatubo evacuees in Azucarera Lourdes, Bamban, Tarlac. Microscopy of direct fecal smear showed that 57% of people of all ages were infected with Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichura, Hookworm, Giardia lamblia and Entamoeba histolytica. Studies revealed rate of 60% for Ascaris lumbricoides, 27% for Ascaris lumbricoides/Trichuris trichura, 7% for Hookworm, 3% for Entamoeba histolytica for 12 infants, 1.6 children ranging from 2 -12 years old and 10 adults, 27 - 70 years old. Poor environmental sanitation at any probably facilitated the acquisition of infection.
