ABSTRACT: In the Philippines, Chronic Kidney Disease has a prevalence of 2.6% (2.6 out of 100) among adult Filipinos. Diagnostic procedures to screen patients for occult renal disease and chronic disease are costly for a country that belongs to lower middle-income countries with gross national income (GNI) of $3,580.
