Therefore, this study is aimed at knowing the association among the frequency and amount of coffee intake to a person's caffeine tolerance. The respondents for this cross-sectional, analytical study were the first year medicine students of FEU-NRMF. A structured survey questionnaire was used to obtain the data for the study. This questionnaire contains questions regarding the kind, amount and frequency of the respondents' coffee intake. At the end of the study, the researchers found out that the higher the frequency and amount of coffee consumption, the higher the caffeine tolerance which means it shows lesser symptoms of the effect of the caffeine.
