Summary: ABSTRACT: This is a case report of % year old male who was initially diagnosed with acute appendicitis, who undergone appendectomy. The surgery was uneventful but the patient presented with billous vomiting, distended and tender abdomen 3 days after the operation. The patient was then scheduled foe exploratory laparotomy where a diverticula was found and wedge resection of the diverticula with transverse closure of the ileum was done. The patient then improved but then faced another dilemma when histopathology findings showed Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor.
