Abstract: Patients' chief complaints are often underestimated or sometimes overly analyzed. This is the case of a 73-year-old female who presented with persistent vomiting for three weeks and was repeatedly managed as a case of Acid Peptic Disease. Patient was treated with proton pump inhibitors and anti-emetic drugs from different institutions until she sought consult from our institution. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and whole abdominal CT scan were done and showed a small bowel obstruction secondary to an obstructing mass which was later revealed, through histopathology report, an adenocarcinoma of the small bowel.
