Summary: Abstract: To determine the student's perception on how the quaratine changes their weight, physical activity, and diet. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted among second-year regular medical students of FEU-NRMF enrolled in the school year 2020-2021. The data was collected through a survey questonnaire made by researchers and was distributed via google forms. With data gathered from 263 participants, 92 (34.98%) participants believed to have slightly increased weight. Dietary changes resulted in 105 (39.92%) of the participants to have increased food portion sizes, while 77 (29.28%) participants believed to have eaten more processed food, and 95 (36.12%) participants increased their sugar intake. From all the participants, 93 (35.36%) believed to have decreased participation in aerobic exercises and sports activities while 24 (9.13%) believed to have increased thier physical activity. 64 (24.33%) participants spent more time on liesure and 175 (66.54%) increased the time they were lounging around. More than half of the paeticipants involved believed that their weight has increased since the beginning of the Coronavirus lockdown. This can be attributed to the increase in food portion size, also with the sedetary lifestyle due to the decrease in physical activity.
