With this, the study aims to evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on the Knowledge, attitudes and practices of Filipino Medical Technologists in considering overseas employment. Specifically, the study sets out to enumerate the factors affecting the decision of medical technologists in considering overseas employment, in terms of socio-economic aspect, demographics, job satisfaction, attitudes on career advancements in other countries, knowledge on policies and regularizations and practices towards overseas employment. Results of this study indicate that there is no different between the populations of medical technologist considering overseas employment prior and during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Regardless of the minimal impact brought by the pandemic to the perception of the medical technologists, the shift in the local circumstances play a contributory role in the context of migration and retention of medical technologists in the country's healthcare system.
