Abstract: Like many other phenomenological studies, the goal of this research is to identify and understand how the present Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok trends influence the social interaction and self-esteem of FEU NRMF Senior High School students. In this qualitative study, the researchers used a phenomenological design since it is more suited to address the research questions accurately and effectively. It also allows for the assessment of the participants' self-esteem and social interaction. The study conducted an interview so that the researchers may be able to learn about the students' perspectives. Furthermore, it was discovered that seven of the ten participants used all three social media networks. The three remaining participants were either Twitter only user or Instagram and Twitter users who did not use TikTok. When asked how they were persuaded use various social media platforms, the majority of the participants said their friends influenced them, followed by their family, other peers, famous persons, or trends. Adding to that, the researchers discovered that these present trends have both positive and negative effects on Senior High School students based on the responses of the participants. Most participants report that it has a beneficial impact on them by boosting their social engagement with others. The trends broaden their knowledge, allowing individuals to talk effectively with others who share their interest, resulting in increased social contact.
