Abstract: Communication application is a vital tool for the students in an online class setting. The study focuses on determining how utilization of communication application affects the academic performance of the students in online classes. The main objective of the study is the utilization of zoom application to the academic performance of Grade 12 students in an online class through answering the research questions by a test questionnaire that were formulated to collect the needed data from the Grade 12 senior high school students. This study used a quantitative method, and the research used a descriptive research design since it is the appropriate method to determine the significance of utilization of Zoom application on the academic performance of Grade 12 students in online learning. Furthermore, the researchers found out that the Zoom application is what the students use in an online setting. Also, the utilization of Zoom application helps the students to have a better academic performance in an online class.
