Summary: Abstract: The purpose of the study titled "THE EFFECTS OF CYBER DATING ON SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS" was to investigate how senior high school students engage in cyber dating and the effects it has on their physiological and emotional well-being. The study conducted a survey through Google forms to 96 senior high school students from grades 11 to 12 from schools or institutions in the NCR region and picked 10 students from the initial 96 students to conduct an interview. This study covers both the positive and negative effects of teen cyberdating. Additionally, this study shows how many young people tried on line dating and how many of them had successful and unsuccessful relationships. The majority of those who reported cyber dating were under the age of 16, with the majority of them choosing Discord as a medium for cyber dating. 58.3% of respondents reported positive physiological effects such as improved eating and glowing up, while 42.7% reported negative physiological effects like exhaustion and weight changes. The most common physiological impact was a lot of laughing and smiling due to the other person's doing such as saying adoring and sweet messages. Emotional effects were mainly positive as 81.3% reported good outcomes, such as increased self-confidence and happiness. On the other hand, 74% reported negative experiences such as sadness anxiety. Overall, the study emphasizes the importance of educating teenagers to show potential benefits and drawbacks in order to stay safe in the cyber dating field. The study also emphasizes the significance of exercising caution when disclosing personal information to partners.
