Online resources: Summary: ABSTRACT: This research aimed to explore the use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) with a specific focus on determining and validating their efficiency in both online and on-site consultations. The study, conducted within Quezon City, sought to understand the advantages of using electronic health records for medical consultations and to what extent health professionals can effectively utilize EHR. Additionally, it aimed to identify possible opportunities for leveraging electronic health records as suggested by healthcare professionals. The results of this research helped detennine whether EHR can improve the quality of the healthcare system, enhance workflow, reduce medical errors, and potentially lower additional costs for patients seeking treatment at different hospitals. The researchers administered a survey questionnaire regarding the usage of electronic health records to selected healthcare professionals and conducted interviews either on-site or online using the Zoom app, considering the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the potential risk of infection. This research specifically excluded healthcare professionals who have limited or no knowledge regarding E-Health Records (EHR), while intentionally including healthcare professionals with substantial expertise and experience in utilizing EHR.
