ABSTRACT: This case report represents schizophrenia, in terms of its burdens, the trends in the research and management, and the role of the family medicine specialist. This is a case of a 21 year old Filipino male assessed with schizophrenia, paranoid type, with bipolar features, wit schizoid personality disorder, GAF score of 41-50; in a nuclear family at the laughing stage with moderate dysfunction and with sufficient resources.
