MEDICINE Research project
Stercoral Perforation is a rare surgical condition, with fewer than 90 cases in the literature up to 2002. It is a very dangerous, life-threatening situation, as well as a surgical emergency. The aim of the study to present a rare case of a 40-year old male with complete small bowel obstruction, secondary to foreign body impaction with stercoral perforation, ileocecal area, managed with ileocecal resection and primary anastomosis.
