MEDICINE Research project
Two case reports on the difficult surgical diagnosis and management of acute abdomen on patients with situs inversus totalis will be presented. The first patient is a 24 year old female presenting with left lower quadrant abdominal pain. Appendiceal rupture occured due to delay in diagnosis. And the second patient is a 32 year old female diagnosed to have calculous cholecystectomy, the first reported case in the Philippines.
