Summary: Abstract: A total number of 754 Patient`s records of FEU-NRMF Medical Center who received Blood Transfusion from August 1, 2012 to August 1, 2013 was collected which composed of 487(64.6%) females and 267(35.4%) males. Average age of the patients is 51.9+21.47 SD. Among these patients, 166(22.0%) were blood type A+, 254(33.7%) B+, 293(38.9%) 0+ and 41(5.4%) AB+. 669(88.7%) were transfused with Packed RBC, 19(2.5%) with Fresh Frozen Plasma, 58(7.7%) Platelet Concentrate, 3(0.4%) Whole Blood and 5(0.7%) with Cryopsupermate. 523(69.0%) patients had no history of blood transfusion and 231(31.0%) had history of blood transfusion. 114(15.%) patients had history of atopy and 640(85.0%) had no history of atopy. 4(0.5%) of the patients had history of transfusion reaction before and 750(95.5%) of them had no history of transfusion reaction. 555(74.0%) patients received Diphenhydramine, 107(14.0%) received Hydrocortisone, 15(2.0%) received Hydroxyzine and 77(10.0%) did not received any Pre-Medications prior to blood Transfusion.
