Mucinous tumors associated with Pseudomyxoma peritonei in women often involves the ovaries and it had not been clear whether the primary site was in the appendix, ovary, or both in such women. It has been important to determine the primary site as to difference in the chemotherapy usePseudomyxoma peritonei syndrome is a relatively rare disease. A case of Mucinous tumor of the ovary and appendix, its clinical manifestation, and its pathogenesis is presented. Differential diagnosis, diagnostic tools and treatment strategies are enumerated.
