Summary: ABSTRACT: Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) of the breast is a rare tumor and its clinical behavior is not correctly known. In this report, a 55 year old Filipino female with a seven month history of painless and rapidly enlarging mass on the left accompanied by weight loss and body maise is presented. Diagnostic studies such as chest x-ray, sonomammogram, and needle biopsy while helpful were not diagnostic. She was diagnosed with a pure primary Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the breast on histopathological examination of the exercised mass. Physical examination failed to show other source of primary tumor. Patient underwent a radical mastectomy and subsequently systemic adjuvant chemotheraphy. Tumor markers were also done for prognostication of management.
