ABSTRACT: Cardiac Troponin T (cTnT) is currently the most specific and sensitive as a diagnostic marker in acute myocardial infarction. Cardiovascular complications accounts the highest incidence of deaths among patients with chronic kidney disease. Hence, elevation of cTnT in these patients even without symptoms of acute coronary syndrome affects its use as an important cardiac marker.
