Summary: SUMMARY: Presented is a case of 62 year-old patient with a posterior fossa tumor manifesting as trigeminal neuralgia. This case illustrates an uncommon cause of facial pain where the classical signs and symptoms of a posterior cranial fossa tumor were absent and the typical symptoms of trigeminal neuralgia were the only presentation. This case further demonstrates that when the usual medications for a specific condition being treated are no longer effective, a high index of suspicion and prudence should warrant further investigation to arrive at a correct diagnosis.
