Summary: ABSTRACT: This study evaluated the relationship of glycemic control with intensive treatment and risk of complications in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension who sought consult at the Subspecialty section of the Out Patient Department of FEU-NRMF Medical Center. Thirty five patients ( mean age=61, range=51 ) were included in the study, representing 58.3 percent of the total population of patient.
