ABSTRACT: Effective hand hygiene is for reducing iatrogenic infection. It is important to instill adequate knowledge and good attitudes and practices at the time of primary training of the healthcare workers. All medical students must be aware and practice hand hygiene procedures as one of the infection control measures that could lower health care acquired infections.
