This study has three objectives: first, to determine the profile of Second Year Nursing Students of Far Eastern University-Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, in terms of age, gender, religious affiliation, civil status and highest educational attainment, second, to determine the extent of leadership style practiced by Level II Instructors, and third, to show how the leadership styles of the clinical instructors be comparably presented according to Kurt Lewin`s Leadership Style model. With the use of Descriptive Analysis method, the researchers came up with significant findings and conclusions. First, out of 220 respondents, majority are currently of 18 yrs of age. Second, female nursing students are more dominant than male students, which means that nursing as a profession is still a largerly choice, although it cannot be denied that male nursing students population is continuously increasing. Third, most respondents are Roman Catholic. This serves as their major religious affiliation, and followed by Born Again Christians. Fourth, all of the respondents are single and belong to the Level II BSN students. They observed Leadership Styles of Level II Clinical Instructors using Kurt Lewin`s Theory is presented in three categories: Autocratic or Authoritarian Leadership Style, Participative or Democratic Leadership Style and Delegative or Laissez Fair Leadership Style. In the assessment of the Leadership Style practiced by Level II Clinical Instructors, as comparably presented on the basis of Kurt Lewin`s Theory, the Participative or Democratic Leadership Style obtained highest overall mean, which corresponds to descriptive interpretation of "Agree". This Leadership Style is followed by Autocratic or Authoritarian Leadership Style, which corresponds to an Interpretation of "Moderately Agree", and, the Leadership Style which received the lowest overall mean rating is the Delegative or Laissez Fair Leadership Style, which also correspond to a descriptive interpretation of "Moderately Agree". In view of findings and conclusions drawn from the study, the foregoing recommendations were made. First, establishment of mutual trust, respect and awareness between students and teachers, so they better understand each other and meet each other`s expectations. of each other to develop a harmonic environment in teaching and learning process. Second, since each Clinical Instructor has different Leadership Styles, it is important to assess the students` way of learning, probably in each section, and adjust the level of teaching depending on the students` capability for learning. Third, as to the benefit of future second year students, allocating more time in studies and awareness of the demands of the upcoming level, would be a great help. Becoming accustomed to each other early enough helps the teacher and students in meeting their expectations of one another, and help in establishing a mutually helpful relationship between them.
