Summary: ABSTRACT: The focus of this study was to generalize the information that would be useful for professional nurses as for their guidelines. It included the different caring, attitude by male and female nurses as perceived by the their patients. The reseachers conducted the study with the permission of the chief nurse of FEU-NRMF Medical Center with a total of 50 inpatients-respondents. The researchers designes a conceptual framework based on Jean Watson Human Caring Theory. In addition, the researchers used descriptive method to describe the existing status or events or phenomena. The total of the respondents was determined through purposive sampling, which the sample was handpicked for the research. The researchers used a set of questionnaires that went through face and content validity. They were evenly distributed to the respondents, thus Liker scale was used to determine the degree of agreement. Interview and observation were also used for additional information that concerning the study. Along with the use of weighted mean to measure the holistic view, standard deviation to determine the variation of two groups and t-test to test if the null hypothesis is true.
