Summary: ABSTRACT: This study aims to determine the level of awareness of mothers regarding the importance of breastfeeding in Barangay San Bartolome, Quezon City. The researchers wish to impact to the mothers in the barangay our knowledge in breastfeeding through health teaching. This study mainly focuses on the level of awareness of mothers regarding the importance of breastfeeding. Including the advantages of breastfeeding to their infants. Their study is also designed to develop and broaden the knowledge of the mothers in the barangay, specifically the awareness of the mother about breastfeeding for the development of the mother`s skills on how to feed their baby.
