Summary: ABSTRACT: This research study aims to determine the job satisfaction of special area nurses of Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, This focuses on the respondents` job satisfaction on to their assigned area in terms of organizational climate, physiological needs, workplace and conditions, interpersonal relations, compensation, and incentives and rewards. Other variables considered that had an effect in the respondent`s job satisfaction are stress, commitment, communication with supervisor, recognition, and routinization. It was found out that the job satisfaction has many factors that have been revealed about what affects and what makes the special area nurses satisfied about their job. It was revealed that the special area nurses are very much satisfied with the hospital`s program for professional growth, clothing allowance, workplace location within the hospital, cooperation of all co-workers in providing service to patients, monetary compensation and satisfactory patient feedback of the hospital.
