Summary: ABSTRACT: The research aims to know the effects of technological advancements in the performance of the students of Far Eastern University - Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation. It identifies the tools such as computers, laptops, etc., time, days, and money consumed in utilizing these tools. In addition, it determines how these gadgets affect students in their performance in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills. However, the researchers also intend to recognize the problems which may be encountered in using such advancements. Through the use of questionnaires which were constructed by the researchers and validated by prominent professors, data were gathered from level I-IV nursing students. Results revealed that technological advancements have a neutral effect on the academic performance of the respondents. Amidst the tools that are highly available in the market, laptop ranked first. Furthermore, the perceived effects of technology in cognitive and psychomotor shows an average effect on their performance. Meanwhile, the affective area displayed a higher than normal effect.
