Summary: Abstract: Volunteering has been an integral part of the medical profession. The researchers chose to conduct a study on Volunteerism to understand the behavior and interest of Medical Technology students in providing service and community involvement. The study aimed at determining the degree of volunteerism, the characteristics of Medical Technology students as well as the motivations and hindrances that affect their volunteering activities. The researchers used a descriptive design and utilized total enumeration as sampling technique. The research provided the respondents with survey toolcomposing of three types that presented factual and varied information about the study. Out of the total population, only 88.19% were surveyed. From the findings, majority of the population were grouped under Somewhat Involved and younger age group tends to participate more in volunteering activities. There were more respondents who volunteer without membership in an organization. Primary motivating factor is self-fulfilment whereas time is the foremost hindering factor in volunteering. The researchers concluded that not all Medical Technology students of FEU-NRMF are inclined in volunteering activities. The researchers came up with the recommendation to plan activities that would increase students` awareness in community services.
