ABSTRACT: The overall aim of the study is to develop a comprehensive database of indices for range of motion in the lumbar spine with the use of Modified Modified Schober Test (MMST) among the Filipino population. The respondents that were 180 asymptomatic Filipinos (90 Males and 90 Females) age ranging from 19-40 yrs, using stratified random sampling with BMI, age, and gender as consideration, Measured their mean flexion, extension and lateral flextion have made database that would only caterr to the Filipino population and not based on the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeon (AAOS) standards. Based on the study, the normative values obtained among the Filipino subjects varies depending on the different factors such as age, gender, and BMI.
