Summary: Abstract: A comparative study on the effective titer production of two hepatitis B vaccines, Engerix-B and Hepavax-B, using dosages of 5, 10 and 20 mcg on seventy-six participants tested negative for HBsAg and anti-HBsAg from the freshman class of FEU-NRMF Sy 1996-97, Inoculation schedule was 0, 1, 2. Titers of anti-HBsAg were determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) three months post-maturation. A 2 X 3 Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to determine effectivity at P = 0.0 1. Fcomputed : 1.044. Rejection of null hypotheses inadequate.
