Abstract: Ten health centers in Sampaloc (District IV), Manila were evaluated. Scheduled visits to each health centers, interviews with health personnels and procurement of patients` records were the modes of gathering data. Evaluation of BCG vaccination of infants and children was based on the percentage of BCG accomplishment. Implementation of case findings, availability of treatment, supervision, follow-up of patients and health education were assessed through interviews, observation and analysis of records and results consistency. Incidence and Mortality rates were computed to demonstrate possible upward or downward trends of our country`s major health problem - - pulmonary tuberculosis. For the year 1993, cumulative results of the ten health centers shows that pulmonary tuberculosis has an incidence rate of 271,57/100,000 population and a mortality rate of 23.58/100,000 population (Appendix A). Intensive supervision, coordination and support on the country`s tuberculosis program should then be implemented.
