Summary: ABSTRACT: A descriptive study of the residents living within 3 km from FEU-NRMF Medical Center was done to detrmine their knowledge, attitude and practices regarding health care delivery during September of 2000. The medical services that most respondents seek for were outpatient consultations, emergency assisstance, laboratory services, obstetrical services and lastly, minor and major sugeries. The reasons they have given for seeking consultation are competent doctors, emergency assistance, check-ups and lastly affordability. Majority of the respondent stresses the importance of competent doctor in a medical institution. Knowing this, FEU-NRMF Medical Center will not have much of a problem. This is just a starting point in the getting-to-know-each-other phase of a good relationship between a new institution and a community.
