Summary: ABSTRACT: Hepatitis B is one of the most feared diseases that one encounters in a hospital setting. Medical technology and Medicine students are exposed to patients in the ward during the course of their studies. This was one of the main reason why this research was undertaken. A quasi-experimental study was conducted. Target populations include all sections of 3rd year-1st semester Medical Technology (RICO) and section A, B and C of 3rd year Medicine at FEU-NRMF, SY 2002-03. An information campaign was done through pamphlet dissemination and through posters. A set of fixed alternative reply question were given to each subject to assess their level of knowledge and the helpfulness of the campaign. Registration was also done to accommodate students who want to avail of immnixations. The action program was successful in providing the students with additional information to increase their level of knowledge and awarenessand an initial step towards an actual incrase in the level of immunity
