Summary: This study was conducted to determine the comparatives efficacy of Paraiso (Melia azedarach), Neem tree (Azadirachta indica) and Lagundi (Negundo vitex) against adult female mosquitoes (Culex quinquefasciatus). Adult female mosquitoes were collected and placed on appropriate containers and different leaf extracts (Paraiso, Neem tree and Lagundi) were applied. Also, a commercial insecticide and distilled water were applied as positive and negative controls, respectively. Observation of mortality was done after three days of exposure. Results using Single Analysis of Variance revealed that there was significant difference among the different leaf extract. Duncan`s Multiple-Range Test revealed that each extracts differ significantly in the efficiency of exterminating mosquitoes. Neem tree leaf extract is the most effective against mosquitoes as compared to Paraiso and Lagundi. Percent Mortality Rate shows that positive control has the highest mortality followed by Neem tree.
