ABSTRACT: The continued rise in the prevalence of hypertension has prompted so many workshops and researches in the different field of medicine. The main purpose is to come up with a single recommendation for a common management regarding hypertension. Literary review from different books and journals specially the report of the Philippine Society on Hypertension will show that they are striving for a single but encompassing treatment for hypertension. So this survey will try to know the most common way of initial management applied by physicians on idiopathic hypertension. On chapter 3, the methodology was discuss. In here was the type of methodology used which is the descriptive-survey type. The purposive type of sampling was applied and the variables were mentioned. The instrument used was also discuss. Lastly the statistical tool used was stated. Chapter four deals with the presentation of data together with the analysis and interpretation. It was presented according to the arrangement of the different sub-problem stated in chapter one. Tables and graphs were used to make the presentation systematic. Chapter five includes the conclusion, summary and recommendation. The conclusion was arranged according to sub-problem yet the sub-problems was not stated anymore. Summary gives a brief description on the survey proper. And on the recommendation, the authors gave an advice for the future researches to take note of.
