Summary: ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of energy drink consumption and the perceived effects on the physical and mental performance of Medicine students from FEU-NRMF. Energy drinks are a group of products that are called for being able to provide alertness and energy as well as to counteract sleepiness. Survey forms were given to the 1st-4th year students and post-graduate interns of the institution and were interpreted through the use of SPSS. The researchers found out that energy drinks have no significant correlation on the perceived effects on the physical and performance of the students.
