ABSTRACT: To compare the serum lipid lowering effect of balsamic vinegar and apple cider vinegar on peanut oil induced hyperlipidemic male Rattus norvegicus (Sprague Dawley rats). The study utilizes a quantitative research design in which serum lipid profile levels of rats administered with balsamic an apple cider vinegar are compared. Baseline levels were acquired. Rattus norvegicus (Sprague Dawley rats) serum lipid profiles were compared after the administration of balsamic vinegar versus the administration of apple cider vinegar.
