ABSTRACT: Diabetes Mellitus has been identified as one of the factors which can lead to TB. This Action Program aims to increase the level of TB awareness of diabetics by facilitating a group discussion among 30 diabetic patients (10 males, 20 females), consulting at the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center. Subjects fully consented to participate in the Action Program. With a Within Groups Experimental Design, level of TB awareness was operationally defined as the Subjects' scores in a questionnaire given by the researches before and after the group discussion. Results of a One-tailed T-test (p < 0.05) show a significant difference between T computed (17.81) and during the implementation of the Action Program. Recommendations are also included.
