Summary: ABSTRACT: Objective: To present a rare case of a pediatric female patient with Schwannoma in the right preauricular area. Design: Case report Setting: Private tertiary hospital in Quezon City Patient: One Summary: This is a case of a 4-year-old female diagnosed with Schwannoma at the post auricular area on the right. Definitive diagnosis for this case would require both the diagnostic and surgical approaches. Diagnostic tests used for this patient were Head and Neck CT scan with IV contrast and Excision biopsy. Histopathology is important in its diagnosis to differentiate it from other benign tumors. Mainstay of management for these types of tumors would require a surgical approach. Excision of the mass would depend on the location and size. Reconstruction may also be required to restore the anatomy and function of the location that is affected.
