Summary: Abstract: Fire safety and prevention should be something that is learned by heart by employees in institutions like hospitals. in this case, F.E.U. Hospital. This study aimed to improve the condition of fire exits, accessibility and availability of fire extinguishers, provide fire evacuation plans in each of the room in the hospital and to increase the level of awareness on fire safety and prevention of all employees. This was accomplished through ocular inspection of the entire hospital premise, vigorous information campaign, actual demonstration of proper evacuation procedure, provision of local fire police department telephone numbers in each of the hospital telephones and fire evacuation plans in each room.
