Abstract: The quantity and predominant waste generated in the institute as well as the existing waste management are to be identified. The quantity of waste refers to the total number of bags of waste generated by the institute per day. Identification of the quantity of the predominant type of waste in particular areas such as rooms and offices will determine the need for segregation and recycling. Cleanliness on each rooms/office will also be assessed. Wasted reduction through segregation and recycling, provision for sufficient number and labelled waste containers, and proper manner of waste disposal as means of waste management shall be implemented. Post-evaluation shall be conduced to assess the outcome of the newly implemented waste management program.
