This study aims to determine the prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis among 44 female public school teachers of Cecilio Apostol Elementary School by means of radiologic examination of the chest and sputum microscopy which yielded a single result that is compatible with tuberculosis and negative for all, respectively. An interview was done through questionnaire to determine the different variable such as age, address monthly income and number of household members that are inherent on the respondents. Results of questionnaire include modest living condition, average number of offspring is three per subject, average income ranges from four thousand to four thousand nine hundred ninety nine (65%), majority resides in Kaloocan (43.2%). From this standpoint our study revealed improved living conditions, adequate health education and awareness about the disease and its prevention as well as an active information dissemination as a preventive measure for future eradication of the disease.
